Calculators and contact messages

No account is required. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. Usage events are described below.

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are sent to FormSubmit, a third-party form processor, for delivery to hello@solarstate.info. We use the received information to review and reply to your request. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

The site does not save contact messages in browser storage. Earlier versions saved copies on the submitting device; visiting the contact page removes that legacy copy. This does not delete messages already held by the form processor or the receiving mailbox.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, traffic sources and tool interactions. Its script loads after your first pointer, keyboard, scroll or touch interaction, or 8 seconds after the page loads. This delay is not a consent mechanism.

Google Analytics may use cookies and process online identifiers, page URLs, device/browser information and interaction events. Our custom tool events do not include calculator input values or contact message contents. See Google's privacy policy for its handling of data.

Hosting and fonts

Pages are hosted on Firebase Hosting and load fonts from Google Fonts. Network requests disclose technical connection information, such as an IP address, to the service receiving them. Contact submissions are also subject to FormSubmit's privacy policy.

Your choices and requests

You can block or delete cookies and block analytics requests using your browser's privacy settings or extensions. The site currently has no consent-management interface; this notice is not a claim that consent requirements have been met.

To ask about information we hold or request deletion, email hello@solarstate.info. Requests involving third-party processors may also require contacting those providers. We do not promise a fixed deletion period that has not been established.
